  • My 10 year old 2nd gen i7 2700k is running awfully hot. I'm sure the AIOs pump has failed but I may as well those the opportunity to upgrade.

    This is the plan, I have all the storage I need, a GTX1080 and a perfectly good case. 140mm fan is to replace the OEM exhaust and the 120mm's are for pushing air in.

    Anything look out of place before I order?

  • Noctua are the tits though. In terms of longevity and noise levels. Totally agree that they are priced too high.

    One of my 3d printers cost me £175 to buy and the first thing I did was put £100 of Noctua fans in it. Went from 88db to 44db @1m !
