I've started messing about with styles I've never used before. I started on a Japanese illustrations thing, found an amazing book in the library which is just ink line pictures of the sea and over a hundred years old. I've been trying to work it into stuff for a bit, and this ended up the result. Unfinished but I'm a bit bored of it now.

Brush, ink, and shameless stealing of inspiration.
I suspect Japanese masters of this kind of thing use thicker ink, thinner brushes, and have had a bit more practice.
