Can’t help with Japan Blue but what’s wrong with naked and famous? I nearly went for their easy guy jeans because of the high rise and tapered leg but ended up going for iron hearts

I have one of their sashiko jackets, really like it. The fabric is super soft and it seems to be proper quality

I bought my very first pair of selvedge jeans from Japan blue in Tokyo last year, I must say very good quality and value for money, also they all come pre washed which saves you wondering if they will fit after your first wash.

What's the opinion here on Japan Blue denim? Seems to be fairly good value compared to other Japanese brands. Being in Canada makes many US/UK/Euro brands much more expensive than they would be in their native locality.
N&F is an option, though it's a little weird.
