1 year? Thought they were made to take you through the apocolypse, not up to it.

They are user serviceable. Details on the CK website.

Yes they are serviceable, there's a snap ring which conceals the bearings and you can see a slit which you can lift the ring up. Clean thoroughly and repack with grease and reassemble.
Done it before and I used SuperLube marine grade grease.

Are Chris King headsets user serviceable or do they need sending to a dealer for new bearings?
I’ve got an Inset 7 which is crusty after a year of wet weather riding
