  • big fan of Trek after those behind the scenes videos.

  • It's a bit like the pandemic itself, advice about how to deal with it given ages ago and just ignored. There needs to be a full enquiry.

  • In the behind the scenes for RVV 103 it was nice to see the admiration The DSs and officials have for riders across all the teams. Not just for panache, like MvdP, but for big efforts for their team like Gilbert and Asgreen

  • Sorry, Will. I was reiterating your point rather than making a new one.

  • Just relieved it’s not wet in northern France today. That would be a kick in the knackers.

  • Thanks for this, that's a great watch.

  • just watched, Etixx were quite the 'villain'
good fun will watch the rest maybe except 2017, that was a dull race

U23 Paris Roubaix doc, featuring forum's finest Tao.

  • Look, I have some yellow bikes

  • enjoyable, cheers

  • Really doubt it will happen-or if it does will be without anyone other than local spectators.

France has tightened their lockdown and is already far stricter than ours, don't see them welcoming crowds of folk from all over and triggering another mass outbreak after demanding their citizens limit themselves so much-would be political suicide if nothing else.

  • Macron will not be seeking another term. end of lockdown has been announced for 11th of may

  • Macron will not be seeking another term.

Jesus-is he doing a Hollande de Tulles as well?

  • I’d rather they used that three weeks to run the classics to be quite honest.

What about the Vuelta? I’d happily see the TfF cut to two weeks.

  • end of lockdown has been announced for 11th of may

Sort of. Maybe. Kind of. Basically they've said lots of if and maybe and perhaps but even if lockdown ends then, it's unlikely to be restriction free. Current bet from my French colleagues is it's going to be schools and some "less essential" companies for the first couple of weeks.

  • yes. but a sort of schedule has been spelled out and schools are everything

  • a different set of reasons but he has done his job, also figured that he is now entirely unelectable as well.
future is bright for him, and the next election is going to be a massive shitshow for france

  • He's had a really elitist public image before and during the Gilets protests that really hasn't helped him imhop-I love watching C'est Cantaloupe mind you so might be contaminating my view of him!

  • I can't believe it didn't occur to him not to post on social media if he was doing something which is against the law where he lives. Wonder what, if anything, the Spanish police will do.

He's incredibly talented as a bike rider, but not particularly talented as a rational human.

  • Well, he's talked about his mental health problems and he can be very self-destructive. You'd hope Ineos knew what they were getting when they signed him and will help rather than punish him. That said, he clearly doesn't make it easy to for people to help him and he does just need to grow up a bit.

  • Dennis' mental health needs to be looked after by the team a bit more. I actually didn't realise how bad his ocd was until he was on the podcast with Rowe and Thomas.

But look at the comments in that thread compared to the two or three in the Gilbert article seems like double standards to me and Gilbert only actually made an apology because he got caught.

  • Well if you're going to read the comments on that site you might as well just suck on a lemon and shave your head with a cheesegrater while you're at it.
