The secret is to hang it off the washing line (spiny type), also dangle sheets of metal from the same line, start the angle grinder and set it free! Will merrily clang and clatter off all the pieces of metal for quite some time. Suggests go for a walk/shopping and leave the angle grinder to readdress the noise balance ;)

Our neighbours are the opposite - super not-poor let’s say. Still the shrieking, shouting, hard things hitting the fence all day. I had felt embarrassed about noise pollution from using power tools, but now I just wait til they’re playing then turn on the angle grinder.
