    Yes, and wooden disks with washers and nuts at both ends of the rods so it was braced between floor and ceiling. The scaffolding boards are warped and cracked so being able to adjust each corner individually was a big help getting useably level shelves out of them.

    It was reasonably robust in that it never actually came down, but the rods were really too thin so it had an alarming sway. I didn’t risk putting heavy things on it, just a few books and some doohickeys I like to look at.
