Also what is a nice reasonably priced Fizik/San Remo saddle?

Getting rid of those red cables and changing the bars would be a good start

Would these be a good upgrade for compact bars?
Also need to replace my chain. Really like the look of this chain. Are they good?

I miss my Fuji track!
28mm tyres fit and the old ones were not bad steel at all. Such a good workhorse.

Thanks. I’ve had this bike since new in 2014. Nearly 6 years on has served me very well as mainly a commuter bike.

Same, I had one of the blue lads from 2011, gave it to my girlfriend at the time years later and don't think she's ridden it once. Was a great bike for the price, think it was about £300 complete at the time.

Removed mudguards, rear brake/cable. Still waiting for the Miche Pistards to arrive. New deda stem and Shimano M520 pedals (black in colour) are en route. Need to replace saddle - any suggestions?
Also regarding the handlebars - they are stock Fuji track. Would something like Deda RHM look tidier once I get the new stem? Or some compact bars - do they differ to Deda RHM?
Last upgrades will be black brake cable, upgraded chain, Tektro R720 front lever and upgraded bottom bracket and cranks and give the bike a serious clean. I’m hoping this will tidy up the bikes looks nicely.
Thanks

Saddles are very personal, you just need to try a few out until you find something that you find comfortable. I'd suggest having a look in the classifieds or on eBay to find something cheap to try out, you can splash out for a new one once you find out what suits you.
Re: bars, compact bars with hoods might be more comfortable than the stock bars and give you more hand positions. -

^ this.
Cane Creek SCR5 levers are the nicest I’ve found.

Miche Pistards arrived, new Deda RHM bars and Miche stem. Should tidy the bike up nicely.

Take note those wheels dont have braking surface..

Had mine for 11 years now and only original part is the frame. You planning on riding fixed and using a (front) brake with those wheels? AFAIK they are track specific, i.e. don’t have a machined brake track so your braking up front won’t be great. I’d maybe go with the Miche X-press ones as they are both double-sided rear plus machined braking surfaces.. Ignore the above if you are running brakeless.

New pedals added Shimano PD-M520, new chain, new Selle Italia C2 saddle, black brake cable added. Tidies the bike up nicely.
Just need to sort out the bars!

What kind of bars are you after? I've almost certainly got a set of risers you can have for the price of postage if you want them. Shoot me a message if you're interested!

The bike's looking good by the way. How are you liking it?

The deda bars and stem I have I'm going to sell.
Thank you
Hi,
Looking to improve the looks of this stock Track Classic. I am planning to remove rear brake, mudguards, black brake cable up front, change saddle (Fizik or San Remo), I have a set of Miche Pistard en route so that should improve things nicely. What tyres work well to complement these looks wise?
I really really hate the stock stem (hate the angle). Would really prefer it going almost straight across if you get me? Would like to get nice Deda stem. Does the stem need to be increased to make it look better? Any suggestions?
Upgrades coming will be stronglight crankset and new pedals.
Thanks guys.
