Any ideas whether this stuff is safe to use on helmets? I was thinking of making a mount with magnets so you can attach helmetcam, light, etc

Yeah it'd be fine but I wouldn't use magnets to attach a camera!

anyone used it to secure their bolts (eg seatpost, stem etc...)?
How easily does it come out so you can adjust or nick things?

I'd be interested in this too. Old-school was to use that epoxy putty stuff and dig that out. Would be nice if Sugru worked to stick in the holes in bolts but could be dug out with a bit more time than your average scumbag has on the street.

I tried it, it is quite easy to pick out, but it does take time. And if you don't get it all out you can't get an allen key in. A fair deterrent, better than nothing, much better if you add a ball bearing as that makes it a real pain to get out.

I love Sugru for making dynamo cables do exactly what I want around forks & tubes.

Thing is, I want some of the bright colours but have no use for the others in the multipacks... so I just dropped them a line to ask if they’d consider letting you choose your colour mix ... for instance, on my Thorn I really wanted loads more green, a little yellow and a couple of black packs, as the places I want to run cables are yellow fork, green frame, and black racks.

Anyone else found they’re left with packs they don’t want from a multicoloured pack? Eventually they harden whilst I wait for a need for pink or blue, and seem a bit of a waste.

I’ve never found a use for some of the colours right away but eventually something comes up. As I keep it in the deep freeze it’s always ok to use. I’ve just used some that was 2 years out of date and it was fine.
