What are those Rotor cranks all about out of interest? Never seen them before! Early attempt at power meter or something?

^same question as above! And dibs the double because they look kind of cool... stupid question but are they intended for road use? Would also take the Flite potentially- on holiday with limited internetz

they do the same thing as an oval chainring without the constant tugging of the rear derailleur, if i'm not mistaken :)
