The distance between the mounting points and faces will be the same - in my experience -
but the ‘scoop’ below the calliper might differ in design to accommodate different calliper geo. -
Sometime it’s weirdly specific to certain caliper even thought it’s listed as rotor sizes.
I fitted a shimano caliper on a tektro adaptor which result in the pads sitting slightly off the rotors, which then rectify by fitting a shimano branded one.

Quick question -possibly stupid- are all IS to post mount adapters the same? I mean as in if I swap callipers will the existing adaptors work still, to do different makes and models of calliper require different adapters?
