Updates..
Managed to dissolve the seatpost out of the Allez. Nearly burned the bathroom down but it worked. Reamed the seattube and all good.
Completely stripped and rebuilt the brake callipers and levers. Whilst not used much they were properly gunged and stuck. Now they're moving beautifully and have new Jagwire cables for them so should be a treat. Just awaiting forks, HS and need to find a 1" threadless stem. Think it'll be an excellent beater, looks and sits spot on. More coming on that.. T
