  • I've tried a couple of the Flavourly boxes when really cheap deals came along (pound a can with free delivery), and don't think they're really worth it. Many of the beers taste like average larger or very average pale ale type things. Nothing "interesting". You would do as well getting what ever is cheap at the supermarket. The beers are all brewed for flavourly, so the breweries involved are just cranking stuff out to a bargain price I think.

My favourite cheap beer box was the Beer Hawk mystery case, which when they had offers on was also around a pound a beer. Really random stuff at or just after the best before date. There would always be some 8% plus IPA, strange sours and other oddballs, along with nice "normal" beers.

  • I thought that since posting the link initially but, given the circumstances, I can still do with 20 supermarket-level lager beers brought to the house at that price.

I do need to order up some more 'interesting' beers though. Will have to do another All Good or do a Clapton Craft order. I want a whole load of Belgian beers I think, including more Westmalle.

I've had more beer delivered to my house since this began than in the six years before it combined.

Same, I keep my eye on different online beer stores and breweries and put orders in all the time.
Previously I'd just pop to Waitrose and get a few jazzy beers, but since that's not an option anymore I'm getting them shipped to my doorstep.

    It's quite a revelation really.

This is never a bad idea.
