• I'm no expert on bikes, so any tips are appreciated! I don't want a MTB as I'd be mostly cycling around London streets. Hybrid or road would be ideal but understand if road is a little out of my price bracket. I've seen some vintage racers in my budget but wonder if they'd be too much upkeep for a bike newbie?

  • Vintage bikes are nice more character you definitely going to enjoy it more and are headturners if you buy a 1990 onwards steel you can upgrade to any modern groupsets because off the rear dropouts spacing 130mm .here are a couple off my 1990s bikes before and after . And doing repairs are not difficult lots off YouTube videos.
