I am writing to update you on the latest support available to help you through these challenging times, during which we are continuing to listen to your feedback and developing tools to help you manage the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
As previously announced, mortgage payment holidays are now available for our customers whose finances are impacted. I’m pleased to confirm that we are also able to offer personal loan customers the option to defer three monthly payments, as well as payment holidays for credit card customers. None of these solutions pose a risk to your credit rating - information on them is detailed below.
We have also announced additional temporary support for eligible overdraft customers, in addition to your existing interest-free buffer of £500, we’ll temporarily lower interest to 11.9% EAR above this amount for your arranged overdraft.
