The Google data also shows that the UK is spending about 20% more time in public recreational spaces than other european nations that are under lockdown.

That's not surprising though, the rules are stricter in France and Italy for example.

Beeb news finally did a piece from a UK ICU (interest declared, it was UCLH) showing the reality of nursing this stuff. I always wondered if the pieces from Italy always made it seem that it was happening to someone else, somewhere else.

I appreciate these are tough high stress times for everybody but you do seem to be getting angry and abusive at people for posting things you don't like on a fairly regular basis now days.

Its the internet. You can't possibly tell everybody who posts something you don't like to fuck off. If you find yourself having to tell lots of people to fuck off because their opinion or method of conveying it annoys you, maybe its not them who should be fucking off.

More seriously, I think the big boss has already said that people shouldn't speculate on here. Yet still fuckwits do, making out they have access to information that no-one else has.

It seems to me that the plan involves:

1. Ramp up testing capacity and hospital capacity
   
2. Deploy location and contact-tracing apps
   
3. Ease but not totally remove restrictions, use contact-tracing to contain and quarantine as needed.
   
   

Planners seem aware that lockdown can't be continued indefinitely, but the way it is explained implies to me that if the infection rate threatens to exceed testing/hospital capacity, it will be re-imposed.

Btw, I've just gone through my postings for the past month, and I don't think I've got a case to answer. Citations needed.
