Preheat with pot in oven, max heat, bang the dough in, lid on for 30 mins, then lid off and judge from there. I just baked 30 lid on, 20 off.
Depending on your oven, you may scorch the top or bottom.
Pizza stone/baking tray above or below depending on where it’s burning. Turning it down will also help. As will moving the pot higher or lower in the oven.
Yeah, I bought the cheapest cast iron enamelled pot I could and it’s totally fine. That’s a reyt fancy one!
