What kind off bike you after for £250 a mtb or shopping bike ,hybrid bike .
You be very unlikely for a road bike.

I'm no expert on bikes, so any tips are appreciated! I don't want a MTB as I'd be mostly cycling around London streets. Hybrid or road would be ideal but understand if road is a little out of my price bracket. I've seen some vintage racers in my budget but wonder if they'd be too much upkeep for a bike newbie?

Hi, looking for a bike just to cycle around locally. I'm currently living in West Norwood and would love to pick up a bike locally, near Tulse Hill, Herne Hill, Streatham, Crystal Palace, etc. It's very hilly locally so looking for something with gears. I'm 5'11 so looking for a large-ish bike.
