Yeah, 48/34 and 46/36 is confirmed to work by SRAM. But not 48/36. So that's why I'm unsure.

It's all to do with the ramp and pin placement to aid chain pick up/drop, having said that, it will work, I cannot tell you how well tho.
It will be fine. Worst case scenario the shifting is a little slow. I have 44/34 on one bike and it works
