  • I want some 35/38mm tubeless slicks under £25 each.

    • Gravel Kings - no
    • G One - seem too fragile/expensive for what I need
    • Hutchinson Override
    • Maxxis Refuse - too expensive

    Is that it?

  • I used G-one for commuting. Did 6 months of 20 miles and the rear still has/had life. They do wear quicker than other tyres but they are light and grippy.

  • I run g one all round 35,
    they have been faultless,
but I 'd like to go slick as well.
The override seems a bit more fragile but much cheaper, I would have a »free« spare tyre on the same budget.
    The Cinturato seems ideal.

  • Pirelli Cinturato come in 35mm - have bought a pair to replace my slowly falling apart GK’s.

Wondered about trying the GK plus for a bit more durability but could only find them for ~£50 a tyre.

  • Gravel Kings - no

The do a more puncture proof one now

  • Overrides are nice and don't cost the earth. can't comment on durability

  • I'm in the same position, I love my Challenge Strada Bianca 36c, but pricey, slightly fragile and wear quickly (~1000km at the rear).

I put faith in some cheap Clement Strada 32c, I slashed one after 40km and the remaining one is proving to be slow on road, not grippy at all on tarmac, half decent on gravel - when not slashed.

Keen to hear about the Override.

    Other options:

    1. Ritchey Alpine - anyone tried these?
    2. Goodyear County - No stock in sight

Unfortunately Gravelkings seem the most sensible option when looking at tires.
