That's not how I interpreted his description, sounds more like momentary contact with the control logic changing state on a rising pulse.
Testing with a continuity tester would give a definitive answer, but I guess if @hugo7 was the kind of person who had a continuity tester, he wouldn't have been asking in here in the first place 🙂

You press down to turn on and it stays turned on until you press it again, but it doesn't lock like a standard light switch.
So..
