Have a look at SJS they might have a different mount. If the lever and shifter are connected you should be able to slide them from side to side, and possibly rotate depending on the mounting, you'll need to remove the lever to check.

cheers. I've had it apart and there isn't any way to adjust it currently.
I'll have a look on sjs. maybe I'll have to separate the lever and shifter and put the shifter onto a separate mount.
seems like a shame as the current setup looks nice and neat, just not adjustable like the higher tier groups. -

can't find an individual mount for the shifter on sjs.
I guess the only way forward is to buy a previous gen 10sp shifter + the shim that fits in the lever if I remove the m6000 i-spec-ii shifter.
or just live with it.
or give up mtb and try again in another 20 yrs.
hello.
I've recently purchased a mountain bicycle and technology seems to have change a bit since I last bought one 20yrs ago.
I currently have full m6000 deore 1x10 with i-spec ii lever and shifter combo. (I think...)
I'd like to adjust the position of the shifter relative to the lever, but the position of the m6000 shifter isn't adjustable as far as I can tell.
is there a way to make it adjustable?
can I buy a different mount?
can I buy an 11 sp xt shifter and use that with the 10sp stuff?
