I'd have traded a kidney for a garden to have a bbq and a beer today. Totally understand that the park is all that some people have.
I'm not offended by seeing people in the park. The vast majority of people i saw today were doing their best to distance themselves. Its just frustrating to see so many people who haven't clicked that they should be limiting time outside to an absolute bare minimum and clearly are not.
I appreciate the guidelines are vague and a household sitting on the grass for a couple of hours isn't an issue. I do worry it becomes more of an issue when you have 500 households sitting on the grass, even if there is theoretically 2m between them.
No, but current events make us wish we did!
We have Blackheath and Greenwich park literally right outside our front door so no shortage of outside space. It's a big change to our lifestyle to be spending so little time outside. I reckon we've averaged 30 minutes outside each day over the last two weeks or so.
