Gave this a wash yesterday (after a year of neglect) and some new Conti tyres. Now in covid - functional mode. Needs front rack really to balance it but still managed to carry a fortnights worth of supplies for the fam.

I like the extra space afforded by the existing wheel size, 650B?

I like this, bit of a sleeper, looks like a random old bike but look closer and it looks dialled. Perfect town/lockup bike.
700c yeah? What frame?
Amazing how convenient and easy rack and panniers are for utility purpose.

Would likely fill it out more nicely but maybe prohibit guards. Lovely bike either way.

Finally finished putting this back together, after initially only planning to get dyno hub + lights it turned into a chore of swapping cockpit out and getting front rack to try and alleviate chronic neck pain that drops + using backpack weren't helping with.

Cheers dude - old Marin Stinson hybrid (1990s) 700c - deore/ryde sputik from SJS. I did a build thread on it last year - its been flawless for kid hauling, shopping and commuting - strapped 4 fence posts to it once and I was thinking about bike packing on it this yr too...

What about cutting the stays, flattening the ends, and drilling a hole through them?
