Ive been riding michelin pro4 endurance v2s for quite some time, I've done hundreds of miles on them, commuted in London and also some longer rides, not one single puncture and they feel very fast and "roll" well whatever that means. Super catchy name too!

Can't go wrong with the Lifeline Prime offerings from Wiggle/Chainreaction if you're on a budget. The race tyre or the armour for more protection.
On my set, the only thing I needed to do was get the nail trimmers out to snip off the hairy rubber bits from the mould. Other than that, they feel great and much better than a £13 tyre should be.

Good question. I've been running 38mm Panaracer Paselas for quite a while now, really good in London but find myself mostly riding in the Peak District so far this year.

I raced TCR (f/r) and Transiberica (f) on them last year. Had one flat in TransIb after hitting a rock at speed hard enough that it dented the rim and cut the tyre in two spots right at sidewall so pretty much any tyre would've died. I wanted something more durable than GP4000s for gravel sections. They worked well. I like them.

This summer... (no, this is not the trailer for Geostorm 2) ...I’m going for these:
https://www.bike-components.de/en/Schwalbe/Table-Top-26-Folding-Tyre-2019-Model-p65889/
Reckon they will just about squeeze into the frame I’m using with a bit of metal crimping. Bigger than a tanwall City Jet + NOBBLES.

Do Vittoria make a rubino iv without graphene?
I don't believe they do currently, although they've chopped and changed their naming conventions a few times. I suspect that page is/was an error or out of date - they're all 'sold out' regardless..
The non graphene version is still available here..
https://www.wiggle.co.uk/vittoria-rubino-pro-folding-clincher-tyre
and the one the latest one here..
https://www.wiggle.co.uk/vittoria-rubino-pro-iv-g20-road-tyre
There's a better deal on the 'older but still graphene' Control version here though..

These do sound quite good, is this a good price for them https://www.probikekit.co.uk/bicycle-tyres/michelin-pro4-endurance-v2-tyre-twin-pack/11322994.html ?

I paid £25 in decathlon for each. Really good tires, fast, hard wearing and good grip. Like continental 4 seasons but cheaper and faster.
-
• #6885
Yup they are good and are still £25 in Decathlon - unless you want a 28c which is £30.
However it seems to be accepted that they are the same tyre as the Krylion 2 (older viewers may remember the original Krylions, which were awesome) and the 28c version of that is £25 here..

That price for 28c is pretty good. They're hard to find now because they've been superseded by the Power Endurance.
They're great tyres, I've been using them all winter through some horrible conditions and some light gravel and 0 punctures so far. Roll nicely too.

I've always been tempted to try, but could never quite tear myself away from GP4S...
https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/road-bike-reviews/michelin-pro-4-endurance-v2-2015 has them faster, as you say, but with slightly less puncture resistance.

After 32mm tubeless tyres, Pirelli Cinturatos I have now have probably done a couple of thousand miles, rear is starting to cut up a little. Don't mind if they come up a little bigger than 32mm. Found Maxxis Refuse, they seem ok, anybody used em, and know how they size up?
Edit: never mind, will be able to shove the 35mm contis (not tubeless, but sat in the shed) in the frame for the summer, now the guards are off, you watch, it'll piss down all summer!

Any one got any suggestions on a good 25c tyre mainly for road but the occasional blast down gravely canal tow paths and the like?
-
• #6890
Don't know about shipping to you but the 25mm GP4 SII is on sale here:

For occasional tow paths? Brave. I've had a couple explosive sidewall failures on GP4000s - I don't know that I'd trust them on gravely tow paths. I'd probably go something with proper bead to bead puncture protection like a GP 4 seasons or the above mentioned Michelin Endurance

I want some 35/38mm tubeless slicks under £25 each.
- Gravel Kings - no
- G One - seem too fragile/expensive for what I need
- Hutchinson Override
- Maxxis Refuse - too expensive
Is that it?
- Gravel Kings - no

WTB Exposure?
-
• #6894
I used G-one for commuting. Did 6 months of 20 miles and the rear still has/had life. They do wear quicker than other tyres but they are light and grippy.

• #6895
Cheers for the suggestions @withered_preacher and @amac090
-
• #6896
I run g one all round 35,
they have been faultless,
but I 'd like to go slick as well.
The override seems a bit more fragile but much cheaper, I would have a »free« spare tyre on the same budget.
The Cinturato seems ideal. -

Pirelli Cinturato come in 35mm - have bought a pair to replace my slowly falling apart GK’s.
Wondered about trying the GK plus for a bit more durability but could only find them for ~£50 a tyre.

Gravel Kings - no
The do a more puncture proof one now
-
• #6899
starting to cut up a little
How badly? That's not normally a reason to replace tyres unless they're very deep cuts.

anyone got any good ideas on how to clean gumwalls?
https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/256336/#comment15195952Cheers in advance,
Matt
Faster and more fun than what? I got Arisun Rapide tan walls. Not faster or more fun than most, but don't break the bank and look summery. No punctures either.
