Don't feel bad about it. I think we've all posted stuff that with hindsight maybe wasn't the wisest at the moment.

I really didn't mean to sound as pompous as I did, or to come across as hinting at inside information beyond the little snippets here and there I have access to. I do consider myself to have a pretty good view of what is happening with regard to national decision making though. But, if I can't back that up with sources, then I should sit on it.
Having people hint at questioning my honesty was a bit of a shock to the system. Hence why I'll be staying away from this thread for a while.
