  • Dunno. All the Tamiya speedos come with Tamiya connectors obvs, but the battery you want probably will not.

  • Is only really prevalent in high discharge batteries and escs. Basically as novices fine to stick with Tamiya connectors.

  • Slightly less susceptible to melting, if your setup draws quite a few amps and esc and motor run hot then tamiya plugs can melt (the plastic bit).

    Edit: and Deans have a larger contact surface area.
