Not a meme but saw some interesting panel research that showed that the issue of bog roll etc scarcity was caused by a lot of people buying a little bit more rather than a few people buying lots, this in effect means that all the restrictions that supermarkets placed on number of same items is relatively pointless and may be counter-productive as it increases the panic.
