I tried changing my card details to test numbers but it seems to do an authorization immediately. I've left the card in but changed all the address details to something bogus.
I've emailed CustomerLoyalty@findmespot.com as you suggested and will see what they say.
If they take any money I'm going straight to chargeback. -
"Thank you for contacting SPOT Customer Relations.
We are sorry to hear you would like to your SPOT contract. It has been a pleasure to serve you as a customer.
Per your request your SPOT services will be deactivated on May 2, 2020. However, if service is required before this date, we would like to offer a generous discount of 50 EUROS off the service for the upcoming renewal. This would allow you to continue to enjoy all the same features and benefits of SPOT at a discounted price.
This offer is available for a 5 days from this email, and if you re-activate at a later date, it will not be applicable.
Please let us know how you would like to proceed."
Most relevant here I guess.
SPOT tracker are shady. I didn't realise but in the T&C is autorenewal. And they store your card details. No warning, nothing, just debited my CC.
I despise business that do this.
Anyone want to buy a spot tracker?
