Just wondered, as you appear to have an insight into conversations that are happening with regards to policing at a national level, and I thought it may have come up in the specific conversation you alluded to with an officer yesterday.

I don't have any insight into national policing. Just a close relationship with two different community policing teams in Lewisham and Greenwich dating back to when I worked for an addiction related charity.
I do have some insight into the decision making process for the Pandemic response and how information is fed up the chain to decision makers.

Not sure why you are asking me. Community officers dont nornally do road policing anyway.
The traffic police were doing lots of random stops of cars in Beckton yesterday. Not sure if that was lockdown related.
