Ah cool, always wondered how one could get through steerer back into frame without compromising (totally fucking) the steerer... do you have any more info on the build? Cheers!!

I'm pretty certain all the 1" wound up forks have a steel steerer so they're a fair bit safer to drill a hole in and harder to fuck up.

Yeah but it can’t just be a hole - it would have to be a slot right... that’s risky... I was wondering about doing the same but decided against it...
I suppose it depends on the frame and how open the tube is internally...
