The fucking state of the situation. NHS trusts are actually placing orders for PPE that has been made in bedrooms in non sterile conditions using non sterile materials. I'm fucking angry that it is necessary but proud to be helping and also quite pleased to have something to distract myself with.
I'll be able to knock out about 15 full face visors a day with a fair wind. Doesn't seem like much but that'll be full face protection for 15 medics for one whole day so it will make a difference I suppose.
I really can't believe that the shortage is so bad that the NHS need this.
So what happen to the story from last week that there was loads of PPE, it was just a logistics problem getting where it needed to be, just another fucking lie from those Tory cunts ?
Also - do they really need to be made in a sterile environment with high-end materials? This feels like one of the few pieces of protection that can be made quite crudely and still work well
