The bike came to me with a mix of old school Campy and a 7 speed XT derailleur. Everything came out easy except the fixed cup on the BB which just crumbled on me. I even tried cutting new flats onto the cup. And drilled holes and stuck bolts thru those and tried to leverage a pedal wrench against those. Just more crumbles.
Was going to just cut it out, but I jammed a BB spanner in the hole, clamped down with a pipe wrench and gave it a few whacks with a wooden mallet.
