Just tried with a metronome, I think my wheezing count from 1-40 was a touch slow before, so now completely out of breath.
Full extension pushups, crunches, squats with arms crossed, straight leg to 90% bend. 340 seconds, including a few seconds between each set to move in between sets.
Like I said, I’m short (5’4) so the mechanics of pushups and squats mean I can complete reps faster than most.
Its approx. 1 second per pushup/situp/squat, with rapid move between pushup position, situp position and squat position between sets.
5 minutes of activity without rest, gets the heart rate up.
1 second per pushup/squat seems ok to me?
Also I'm short, so completing pushups, crunches and squats take a fraction less time than most!
