Its approx. 1 second per pushup/situp/squat, with rapid move between pushup position, situp position and squat position between sets.
5 minutes of activity without rest, gets the heart rate up.1 second per pushup/squat seems ok to me?
Also I'm short, so completing pushups, crunches and squats take a fraction less time than most!
Why the rush? Speed normally = terrible form. Unless you're doing crossfit, then terrible form is some kind of requirement.
