Yeah, I guess those two US points were somewhat related in my mind. i.e: the level of coordinated strategy worldwide and the best 'exit' in a few months. Will US and UK persue different course or eventually shift to the 'hammer and dance' because it means less death in the short term regardless if you don't even get close to herd immunity.
Two interesting bits (to me) from US briefing yesterday: Fauci saying that a lot of the top medical experts from diff countries have had group calls to talk over findings. Think he also suggested that US aim was to eventually get cases down to zero/small level with their current approach then contact trace to control small outbreaks. Different endgame perhaps to UK? Trump also advocating scarves.
