100 burpees is enough to put anyone in a dark mood... I hope you did the ones with full pushups and jumps!

100 burpees
I’m waiting for the stats police to question those numbers.

Conveniently enough no sight of Boris. Tory politicians have a track record for disappearing when the shit hits the fan.

Maybe he's on some Dyson prototype ventilator as we speak?
Have out some beer in the fridge for the morning, just incase.

Something strange going on in China. Foreigners now not allowed to enter and airlines are only allowed to operate 1 flight to each country per week, limiting the number of imported cases (students returning from abroad), apparently no domestic transmission. However there's been a whole host of government measures in the last few days closing venues, moving the college entrance exam back by a month, forbidding sports events, etc. This is quite different to a week ago when the govt allowed us to open up our compounds again and officially said we don't need to wear masks if we're alone in public. Pretty sure there are a LOT more cases, historical and current, than have been officially announced.

Been reading about lots of foringers getting grief not being allowed in restaurants and malls etc. Hope that your not getting any grief. I think China are pushing the narrative its all ok now Xi beat the virus we are the bestist but I worry that its still a major problem

I wonder who is going to get wheeled out today for the daily update, must be the least wanted call in the cabinet right now. Same for whoever gets wheeled out on the morning breakfast programs to get savaged by piers morgan et al.

I don't believe any of the Chinese data.

I've not really had any hassle from anyone, a lot of insistence on knowing when I came back to China and people telling me how safe China is compared to the rest of the world (tbh I hear this allllll the time, just the topic has changed from crime to the virus and both are bollocks, I've never lived anywhere where knife attacks at kindergartens are such a common incident!). The virus is ABSOLUTELY still a major problem here but people would have to die in tens of thousands before it's admitted. I'm wearing a mask/keeping up the handwashing even if the old people in my compound think it's ok to spit in the street again.

This is always a wise approach.

Given their reader demographic, the Telegraph has to stand up for them at some point.

Oof! Awkward truth lol.

That’s cool, I guess you will start grouping more together when able and reducing the total time?
I’m currently committed to doing 3000x3, 100 pushups/sit-ups/squats grouped into 40x3, 30x3, 20x3, 10x3, while trying to get it done in under 5 minutes.

I wonder who is going to get wheeled out today for the daily update, must be the least wanted call in the cabinet right now.
This is the easy gig, the microphones are switched off of the questioner as soon as it is asked, so no follow up or challenge. Yet still they are not letting the Home Secretary Priti Patel have a go.

Home Secretary Priti Patel
She'll probably want to get tough against antivirals.
-
• #8848
Weird right, have seen far more of the Housing Minister than the absent Home Secretary

Only those foreign antivirals that have been here for years though.

So, bear bile as treatment for infection.
I'm just popping out to the shops to stockpile.
People are getting turned away citing lack of evidence of recent DBS check or having no (or old style non-photo) driving licences.
It might be worth having these or proof of these handy if you can. Who has their own DBS details though?
