Hitler was an Austrian
The constant references to his birthplace are a diversionary tactic used by Germans to distract people from the fact that he only got the top job in Germany because twice in the space of a year in free and fair elections a third or more of them voted for the NSDAP. Regardless of where he was born, there would be no Hitler regime without the German people.
Californians don't try to pretend that the Governator was nothing to do with them🙂

Hitler was an Austrian. It's like Germany but it's an entirely different country, which is why the idea of a fictional pan-European state of white dudes was so important to them.
Coincidentally, the Covid-19 outbreak also came out of Austria so I guess that's twice that something came out of Austria and fucked the entire world.
