  • I don’t use a breadknife. Always end up using whatever my sharpest chef’s knife is at any given point. Find the ragged cut and crumb spreadage caused my admittedly cheap old breadknife suboptimal. /Dammit

    *disclaimer: my chef’s knives are cheap too but I keep them sharp ish

  • A decent bread knife is essential IMO chefs knife don't cut a decent crust well.

    I do fancy a fiddle saw bread knife.
