  • They also need regular sharpening and, above all, proper chainsaw clothing if you don't wish to be an amputee. A little training might be nice too....

    If you must have the nuclear option, Stihl are my weapon of choice, but #edmundo is our resident expert.

  • We have a schism in our household on the chainsaw front. I am a stihl fanboi, wife has a husqvarna. I think it’s much like the cycling group set argument, they do a similar job but what I chose is bettererererer.

  • Spent a lot of time with tree surgeons and landscapers, the broad agreement is that at the small\cheap end of the scale there is little difference between them, the difference comes at the higher end where Huskys are better made than Stihl (we have 3 stihl and 2 huskys on the farm, the stihl do feel cheaper).
