If cyclists are riding the lanes in groups or gathering in central then use the law and prosecute the fuck out of them.
I don't think anyone here is justifying group rides or otherwise congregating in groups, nor have I seen anyone here say they've done that. Enforce the actual restrictions in place now instead of being angry at someone doing a solo 3h ride.

As if we should feel lucky, happy or anything that our society isn't more authoritarian and somehow it will be our fault if it becomes so.
Accepting this nonsense is a great way to get there faster.
