Maybe, but even then I just don't think it's particularly helpful to weigh up how much your normal freedoms have been restricted yet. I won't tell Hungarians concerned about how their executive has just grabbed essentially absolutist power that they should either feel lucky or be happy that at least it's not quite as bad as China yet.
The fact such measures (as in the UK, decidedly not Hungary) are necessary is shit any way you look at it. Complaining about a very sudden rather large restriction on what you can and cannot do is a pretty normal human reaction, and I'd rather see that than everyone fall in line immediately with no issues whatsoever - that'd worry me a lot more.
How about “feel lucky” we change it into “be happy”?
