• Putting up my daily ride for sale. It's a Cannondale Capo 56cm, built up earlier this year but due to moving into a van next week I'm considering selling it to build some kind of gravel bike. Set up as a SS right now but has a flip flop hub.

The frame is in really good condition, only a couple of small cosmetic scratches, no big dents or chips. I have covered the white part of the frame with electrical tape (not trying to hide anything bad), had plans to get the frame resprayed but I never got round to it. The forks are eBay carbon "ec90" and look great with all the white parts of the frame covered, I also seriously rate the build and ride quality of them, but I will include the original white forks if you want to swap them back.

Both brake levers are hooked up to the front caliper with a jtek double control, so the frame look really clean without the cable going to a rear break. I will include another brake caliper and the cable mounts if I can find them.

Sram Omnium cranks are just a couple of months old and the Halo track wheelset and gatorskins are about 8 months old.

Not sure on price but it will need to be a good offer as I love this bike and will probably just keep it if it doesn't sell.

  • That is the neatest ‘cover up with tape’ job I’ve ever seen.

  • Name a price (which is the rules) and if it's reasonable I'll buy it.

  • And then I’ll buy it off Dammit in 6 months when he hasn’t ridden it

  • **Shakes fist at sky**

  • Sorry only just joined today, thought price was an advisory rule. I'd part ways with it for £550.

  • When you say “no big dents”, does that acknowledge the presence of small dents?

  • Brave lock bracket position

  • Just had a thorough look over it and there is only one tiny dent on the top tube, and 2 paint chips (See pics) Other than that I would say the frame is in very good condition, welcome to come and view it.

  • My last one started to tear apart due to a sharp edged dent in the top tube, which the previous owner had filled in and then painted over - I spotted it because the cracks started radiating out around the tube from the (hidden) dent that was the centre of them.

That ding looks fine. Better if it wasn't there, of course, but it's a cosmetic rather than structural flaw.

  • Yep very much cosmetic and you can't see it in most light. Excuse the dirt in the last photo, still using it daily at the moment!

  • dibs on the omniums if ur splittinz

  • Where abouts are you?

  • Near Bow Church DLR, East London

  • Advisory (not rules):

Update the thread (or close it) when your item has sold and say how much it has sold for.
Put a price in the first post, with ONO (Or Nearest Offer) if you're willing to negotiate.

  • A bit over priced I think personally.

  • Long shot, if its still for sale and you fancy a swap to a gravel bike I can strip this back to a SSCX/Gravel bike with knobly tyres and a standard front wheel.

  • Hello, I have a 60cm brothers track frame set if you would interested in a swap?

  • Would you split? If so how much for the wheelset?

  • If the Omniums are 165 I would be interested. PM if you would consider.

  • Would you split? I would take the frame only if you post it

  • How much??

  • Is this still for sale? Keeeeeeen.
