Advice needed; a mate and I have decided to have a six stage virtual race, as we are quite evenly matched, effectively 6 time trials. Over a variety of courses no more than an hour.
I’m 75kgs and ftp of 255
He is 65kgs and ftp of 225
I’m guessing I should have slight advantage on flatter courses and he over hillier ones.
Any suggestions for tactics?
Also what sort of assumptions should I make as to how much power I should be able to average for 20 mins 30 mins 45 mins etc.
Does this give you an ftp based on your recent efforts when you sign in? It’s given me a number which might be accurate but not sure where it came from.
