Finally got around to making some progress on my paring knife.
Very rough job using standard diy tools. It really makes you appreciate how easy the pros make it look.
Still need to do a bit more tuning of the fit before getting the epoxy out. A job best left for the day time and fresh eyes.
As long as nothing goes wrong, I think the red and black liners will go nicely with the cherry wood once it's all done.
The blade looks a bit dull
Yeah.
All the YT vids have people neatly taping them. I tried that and the edge just cut through it and made me fear for my fingers so just went to town.
