I did have a demo version of Ableton ages ago when I first thought about mucking around.
Actually, still have it, it's from 2011! I can't remember what it was but I didn't seem to get on with it. Maybe it was just that I had less time at home to actually learn it and I'm just slightly more familiar with Reaper.
Now I just need to work out how to use it while also riding the turbo.
The fact that there are so many amazing DAW's out there is one of the things i really like about the music production world and there's always one that'll click.
