Cycling won't be shitcanned if we do our part in A. following the rulebook ourselves but more importantly B. holding our friends and peers accountable when/if they don't.
I gave a middle aged guy in rapha a bollocking in Regent's yesterday after he close passed me that I hope he won't forget in a hurry.
I don't have a turbo trainer and anything I can do to stave off the banning of cycling I'll do it.
Masks and gloves etc aren't necessary for anyone who isn't doing a high risk occupation. Keep your hands away from your face until you get home and then wash them. Or better yet get home, strip off, jump in the shower and wash yourself all over and then have a delightful 5 minutes picking your nose or whatever.
