19mm difference, probably too much

There is an 19 mm difference in rim placement, so it depends on the brake. There could be something that you probably could get to work, but the lever will be way more and the brakeing power will surly be affected.

maybe, though you'd have to have tight clearences to begin with. And the OP said cantis, and there aint no such thing as long reach cantis!

Finally got round to putting a rear flap on the LHT, did ponder about getting disc tabs added but gonna shelve that and just ride it for now.

Front is a little logo heavy with the Surly bars, head badge and rack

how you finding the bars? do fancy a pair for my DT.

Stripped the logos off ours, just got the Surly downtube and on the forks/seatstays. headbadge off too!

Hows the custom restrap?

Good, held up to a year and 15k Kms of abuse.
Weather proof enough and can easily hold a 6 pack of beer. What more does one need?

That's spot on! I never got the Surly Open bar set up just right on my old Peregrine but your's looks pretty good with that tall stem.
