Do you know the best old Italian steel?

Here's mine. It's a Brian Rourke from the year 2000, that I got off the forum about 4 years ago.
As I originally built it up, with SR, Shamals, and Deda Piega bars:
With some new wheels:
Set up for Dun Run, with dynamo hub wheelset built by DCR, 52/36 Chorus, and Deda RHM bars:

I had a 1989 Tommasini for a while. Lovely to look at, heavy though and felt dull compared to the Rourke. Here it is with a 1999 Record:

Only ahead that works on steel is the Deda SL stem.

Extralite Hyperstem looks good too

But yes, they do.

I always think steel with a horizontal top tube needs a -17º stem, but that one on the Klein works

Steel ahead also works on classic steel frames imo

Klein is Alu and that stem is the stock Klein Mc2. Rigid as all hell.

And a rear one

I'd love to know how that Tommasini compares to your Cinelli and your De Rosa (I'm not being sarcastic btw). Or any "historic" brand really.
Also actual old steel vs the modern versions (which have more clearance now but also possibly a slightly different geo). -

I’m on the lookout for one of those Zoom / Shogun Zero crmo seatposts in 27.2 (would also go for 26.8 maybe)
Anyone got one 4 sells? Couple of NOS ones on eBay but they’re a bit eye wateringly expensive when you add the postage on.
Cheers!
