Coronavirus update: We’re keeping the UK connected. We are open for business. Despite best efforts some services may be disrupted.
And elsewhere on their site:
Despite our best endeavours, it is likely that some areas of the country will experience a reduction in service levels due to Coronavirus-related absences at local mail centres or delivery offices.

Most of them offer a personal shopping service these days.
Just hand your shopping list to the chief 'Butler' at the entrance door. -

My local (Essex) Lidl has a 1 out 1 in policy in place, adequately distanced folk in the queue outside, shelves relatively well stocked (apart from Paracetamol and Chocolate Milkshakes)
YMMV in you neck of the global woods -

Some people are going to decide to shave their heads and regret it.
-
• #8311
I'm getting to this point but I will have NO REGRETS.

Seems like people have finally realised that we’re not actually going to run out of much and things are starting to return to some sort of normal. Our Aldi has started shutting 2hrs earlier at 8pm and they keep people apart at the checkouts.

A few years ago in a bid to save money I bought a set of wahl hair clippers, guards and a pair of barbers* scissors off eBay and got my wife to start cutting my hair. It was a good decision then but is looking better and better at the moment.
*they're really shit and I should get some better ones.

I want to but all the decent clippers were sold out online when I looked on Thursday :(

Still building up to it, I’ve been putting it off for years as I have a twin with a buzz cut and don’t want to look like the Mitchell brothers.
-
• #8318
Weve been locked down for a week and you need a buzz cut?
Maybe at 6 months...

True, my nose hair grows much faster than the one on my head.

I’m aiming for the Roberto Mancini, might even be able to get the bod if it goes on long enough.

My superior genetics mean that the hair on my head is now thinning, soon I won't need to cut it at all.
I will, however, need to shear my body.

He's staggered that I pointed out that this was both stupid and dangerous, and has gone off on one about authoritarian states.
Food that will be properly heated is entirely safe, as long as you are careful with the packaging, and avoid close proximity with the delivery person.

I've actually cut my own hair since about 2 years. Gotten quite good at it. It's easy if you just do it regularly and don't let it get too long.

Don’t be daft. There’s a risk either the dad or son are contagious. So them handing out buns to old people is a completely unnecessary risk regardless of how hot the buns got.
Can you only get 75 buns in a 911’s boot?
They don’t really have a boot do they? More a sort-of ‘front-trunk’, ‘bonnet-boot’, ‘nose-hole’ type thing.
